PROGRAMMING can be accomplished through either the LCD Front Panel or via the Quickll software package which is downloadable free of charge over the internet (excludes internet and phone costs). The Quickll software allows programming by clicking block types, placing them on the computer screen, configuring the content of each block and joining inputs and outputs using a line tool. It's Quick and easy. The software includes a simulator to allow dynamic program testing before loading into the controller. Click an input to the ON or OFF state and see the logic lines and outputs change colour and block dynamics appear to show operational state. Enter analog values and see the logical result of comparator blocks in colour. Once tested, the program can be WRITTEN to the controller, RUN and MONITORED from the PC. Quickll software requires the AF-C232 Interface Adaptor Cable option to connect to the P.L.C. |

OPTIONS are many and allow this truly remarkable Mini-GIANT P.L.C. to perform a wide variety of tasks. REMOTELY ACCESS a controller for programming or monitoring from a PC in your office using modems and a dial up telephone line. At the controller end you will need an AF-C232, an AF-M232 and a modem connected to a dial up phone line. The modem must be configured to 'Auto-Answer' the phone. At the office end your PC must be attached to a modem and dial up phone line. Dial in and access the controller after entering a password for security clearance. Insert the LCD Panel to change timers and other operating parameters then Remove it for security. |
